Cream blush or powder blush?

any suggestions?Cream blush or powder blush?
I personally don't like cream blush as I just actually bought one today by revlon, and it looked too cakey. Granted that my skin is not flawless and my pores are not so small, but it seems that the cream blush just goes into every nook and cranny of one's complexion. The brand that I used had too much fragrance in it as well btw.

I prefer powder blush by prestige. It doesn't seem to irritate my sensitive skin. I suppose that each person's skin chemistry is different and may react differently to the same product(s).Cream blush or powder blush?
they say it depends on the time of year, well i dont agree , I Think it just depends on what look you are going for, cream or gel will give you a more dewey look, and powder a more natural look.... tarte at sephora has good gel blush, and Nars has two very good ones called deep throat and orgasm ( seriously) go to sephora.com then go to either tarte or Nars under products, if using powder blush when done just use some t.p to wipe off any excess, gently
They BOTH are good. I tend to variate cream blush or powder blush and sometimes i wear both at the same time.

Cream blush is gorgeous especially in the sun, when the sun hits your face it will look very pretty! I use Bobbi Brown Cream blush or Stila cream blush. For powder blushes i use Givenchy Pop blush or Nars blush. I think powder blushes look good in the colder months, and cream blushes look good in the warmer months of the year.
Here's another trick with ';foundation'; that I heard Beyonce swears by:

She doesn't like the way foundation feels on her skin,

so she applies moisturizer on her skin and dabs on with powder with a powder brush afterwards.

I've tried it,and it works!

It doesn't feel ';caky like';,just light and natural.
It all depends on your foundation.

If your foundation is liquid, use cream blush

If your foundation is powder, use powder blush.
dream matte mousse cream
cream blushes look very unatural if they are in vibrant matt colors. If they are a shimmery bronze then they are gorgeous. I think that powders are always your best bet. They are very easy to apply and you can set them very well. Good luck hun
It depends on what effect you are after.

For a dewy effect on younger skin creme blusher loks amazing.

Older skin can look a little more liney if you use creme.
cream blush
If you have fine lines or wrinkles, creme...younger skin either. The powder will sink into the lines on older skin and make them appear worse, the creme will give you a nice dewie look.
ok cream blush could be good for ppl with dry skin.. if u have oily skin stay away from anything thts not matt!!@

n powder brushes r the best.. easiest to apply and best for retouching~!
It depends on your age.

Youthful skin responds well to cream blush, because powder can look too mature or defined. Use a flattering peachy/pink colour, and use sparingly on the apples of your cheeks (the fleshy part when you smile). I LOVE Stila Convertible Colour in Petunia.

Powder blush is great for more mature skin, it leaves the skin looking smooth and silky, and lasts well. Powders should follow the line of the cheekbones.
