Yes. It creates a stickier base for your blush, making it last longer. I do it and am happy with the results. Is it true if u put on lotion before u put on blush your blush will last longer?
Yes.
1. It opens pores
2. It makes your skin sticky allowing the powder to stick.
But the downsides suck.
You're going to about on a 80/90% chance of getting a break out of ugly pimples. The lotion will open your pores like mentioned earlier and then with the blush it won't rub off and it'll clog up the pores which is bad.
I wouldn't do it unless you don't plan on leaving it on long and you clean your face alot.Is it true if u put on lotion before u put on blush your blush will last longer?
If anything, it will probably cause breakouts. Anytime my face was dry due to colds, when I would apply lotion and then make up over it, I would end up breaking out. I wouldn't recommend doing that.
It is true if you MOISTURIZE your skin your powder, foundation and blush will stay on longer. Never just go with any lotion though, some lotions are filled with oils. The last thing you want to put on your face is oil. Stores carry specific face/make up moisturizers, that is the best thing to use.
The make up really doesn't matter if you break out is zits, so be careful of what type of lotions you are using.
I hope this helps you!
Try this site for some good idead for moisturizers or your local drugstore or walmart!

i use la roche porsay's matt moisturiser that's suitable for oily skin and can be used as a makeup base. my blush didnt last that long though.
That's true.
yep it's true. same thing goes for putting it on your eyelids for eyeshadow
it works for me-i think it is cause it opens ur skin's pores
idk but maybe cuz like lotion is kinda wet right after u put it on and if u put blush on after that then it'll kinda stick 2 it. so ya. but, actually, it would b hard 2 blend the blush. idk. well, hope this helps! lol XD
NO, it makes it come off faster and more easily.
If the lotion is a makeup base than it should help the blush to last longer. If it is moisturizer and has oils in it, the oils will cause your blush to dissipate even faster. Try not to use really cheap blushers either. Using a cream or squeeze blush and a base (these are usually sold at drug and department stores), or setting your face with loose powder together usually produces a longer lasting and better result.
It's true because the blush will stick to the lotion more easily than it will to your skin.
