How do i apply blush?

don't tell me to apply it on the apples of my cheeks because i don't like that .. i want it a more natural way.How do i apply blush?
For a natural looking blush application, think about a time when you've been embarassed and blushed naturally.... I know, I know, we don't usually think to look in the mirror when this happens but see if you can remember to check you're reflection next time. You'll notice that we blush more around the outer perimeter of our face than we do towards the center. This is how we should apply our blush for a more natural look.

First, use a blush brush, one designed specifically for applying color to your cheeks. This will insure that you get enough color, not too much, not too little. When you apply the color to your brush, wherever you put the brush first is where you will have the most color on your face so start high on your cheek bone near your hairline but about not higher than the corner of your eye. Lightly dust the color down the bone towards the apples of your cheeks. You should be able to fit two fingers between your nose and the end of your cheek color. You don't have to press the color into your face, think of it more like dusting than painting. You can stop before you get to the apples if you like, but you'll notice that since you applied the color near the hairline first, it's much softer and more subtle once you get to the apples. If you start at the apples, that's where the majority of your color's going to be and what that will do is actually bring attention to your nose, making it the first thing people see when they look at you. I don't care how beautiful you are, I don't know anybody who wants their nose to be the first thing people notice! :-) To soften it up even more, I like a light dusting of my loose powder over my cheek color so it really looks as if the color is coming from within naturally and not just sitting on top of my face. (Use a powder brush for your powder. Not your blush brush!) Some people choose to soften the outline of the blush with a sponge after it's applied. This also helps creat a more natural look.

i am a freelancer for a large make-up company so u can trust me... i kno u said u dont like the apple of the cheek idea but just hear me out first.... smile.. using a semi large brush hardly touching the apple of your cheek and go around in a circular motion.. then swoop up the cheek bone NEVER PRESS THE BRUSH AGAINST UR FACE... always use light strokes.. pat the brush of then go back and use an up and down motion going horzontal again pressing lightly.. this will give u a natural look
in an upward sweeping motion along your cheekbones-remember you can always add but it is harder to take away
Make a fish face and see where your cheekbone is. Draw a gentle line of blush all along your cheekbone, but don't go past the apple of your cheek. When you've experimented and have the location where you want it, brush your cheeks in a circular motion to blend it, and put just a little blush all over your face to blend it better.
Sweep it down with a blusher brush on your cheek following the pupil of your eye. Or use your fingers and dab it onto the top part of your cheek just below the corner of you outer eye.
Always start at the top of your cheeks near your hairline and work your way down torwards the nose.
I would use a large, natural hair bristle brush with a well-pigmented, yet sheer blush. I like MAC's sheer powder blushes. Apply a little bit at a time in large, circular motions along or right underneath the cheekbones. Apply very little at a time so you can layer it to get the desired hue. I think that is the most flattering. The kind of brush and product you use makes a huge difference too. I highly recommend MAC's blushes and brushes.
smile realy hard. get a sheer color and dab it on your puffy parts
