Help with applying blush?

I don't have obvious cheekbones therefore i find it really hard knowing where and how to put on blush. Any tips please?

thanks :)Help with applying blush?
you smile and apply them on the apples of your cheeksHelp with applying blush?
Suck in your cheeks and follow the part that sticks out the most, which will be your cheekbones. And remember, sweep the blush and then swirl it in circle-like motions across your cheeks.

And when you're applying a darker color to the hollows of your cheeks to create a more sculpted look (this is called contouring), take the brush and follow it from where the tip of your ear starts to the middle of your cheek.

I used to have a hard time doing this, but I just followed that advice and now it looks like I have awesome cheek bones. Hope this helps!
Okay, well first off, you don't need cheekbones to know where blusher goes - because its not blusher your meant to put on your cheek bones! For blusher, smile and lightly brush the blusher onto the apples of your cheeks, and this will look natural and create a fresh glow.

What you really need to create the whole ';contoured %26amp; cheekbone'; look is a bronzer, a highlighter and perhaps a blusher.

1. Using a large kabuki brush (http://www.mommymakeup.com/images/D/silv鈥?/a> and using a light bronzer dust it all over your cheeks and a little bit down your neck, but remember light, light, light! don't go excessive or you will actually look ridiculous, your aiming for a healthy glow.

2. Then if you want to use blusher, smile and apply to the apples of your cheeks, choose a blusher with golden undertones if you want a healthy glow, if not dont use the above step. I suggest rimmels blusher in 012 coral rose.

3. Then, to create the 'illusion' of cheekbones, suck in your face so you look like a fishy, and taking an angled blusher brush or a small blusher brush apply a HIGHLIGHTER to the little crease that appears when you suck your cheeks in. You can also get highlighters in stick forms which are great.

Highlighters;

some brands to look for, for highlighters are m.a.c, nars (almost definitley) no.7, miners etc. if you can't get hold of an actual highlight, then use a white or cream eyeshadow, it does the same trick :-)

i hope this helps :)
choose two tones of blush..one lighter one darker than your skin tone, take the darker shade and blend downwards from the top of your ear as if your heading towards the corner of your lips(but only go about half way!!!) this will create a 'shadow' under your cheekbone, next smile and lightly apply the lighter shade to the apple of your cheek, and finally sweep a brush over to blend so it doesn't look like two stripes and voila... perfectly contoured cheekbones! remember too. if you go a bit overboard a dusting of loose powder can tone down a blush that's a bit bright!
if you feel beside your eye and bring your finger down you will be able to feel your cheekbones, you should start in a sort of line on your cheekbone and work up the cheek blending it into the rest of your skin.

:)
U dont have to apply it on ur cheekbones, that is only 4 ppl with faces that arnt round. Smille, and u will get two fat apples on ur cheeks... apply it there. Or youtube it, theer are tons of vids there that can help u!
if yoo want ur blusher on your cheekbones then pout then u'll see da shape...if yoo want to put it on ur apples of ur cheeks then just smile and there you'll see themm aswell...

well both of them work for me ... so i hp it workzz fr yoo aswell

hope i helped X;
Just do a big cheesy grin and apply it on the apples of your cheeks (the fleshy part).

Or suck in your cheeks and you should be able to feel the cheekbone, then apply it.

Good luck!
Ask Pikachu!
Suck your cheeks in so you may look a bit like a fish at this point. and you will be able to see your cheekbones more.
smile and your cheekbones will reveal themselves then just apply from the apple uptowards your eye. (:
smile and where you see the apples apply it there also to make your blusher not look like a clown after your foundation before anything else apply blusher in small strokes
smile big and put it on the puffed out balls that form. make long swipes to your hairline. go easy on it, though. too much blush is creepy!
its best to apply it on your upper cheek, slightly on your ';nose curve'; and to the other upper cheek; when you smile really big, that part.
You need to suck your cheeks in and apply to your cheekbones that way
try pressing ur fingers where ur cheeckbones are once ur figure that our aply 2 to 3 strokes
apply your blush in a [ J]
smile
smile and you'll find thooose balll like shapes in your cheeks
